49 Commando are a group of people that play competitive video games on the Xbox 360 console via Xbox Live.
One of their members enquired about having a completely custom database system created (that also had to be integrated with their existing vBulletin forum) in which they could store details of all the matches they have played, the results and other details about the match.
To accomplish this I decided to use a MySQL database in conjunction with PHP, as you can see from viewing the website the project went extremely well with a myriad of information being stored, and then displayed, in an eye appealing format. Another aspect that was added during programming was a statistics page which dynamically calculates statistics such as games played, lost and won etc.
It was also important that the database was easily maintained by users who had no knowledge of PHP or MySQL so I created a fully-featured administration section from which it is possible to control all aspects of the system.
